The geometry of the fabric is defined via the “Settings” tab. Warp
density, weft density and cloth width are entered in accordance with
English or metric systems, along with the dimensions of the
simulation (max. 18 x 18 cm). The scale at which the fabric is
displayed can also be pre-selected. Enlargement is recommended for
very fine fabrics. The weave interlacing is selected from the
database, then the background color and the pinked edging.
Into the “Warp” and “Weft” columns transfer from the database the
yarns with which you wish to produce the simulated woven fabric.
Several million dyed shades can be imparted to the yarns. Once all
necessary settings have been made, the calculation process for the
simulation is started and in a short time you have a realistic
simulation of a woven fabric. |
