MT - OASYS
® Yarn Board Module

The traditional way to display yarn evenness is on a board or panel. The yarn is wrapped on this surface in the shape of either a rectangle, single trapezoid, or four trapezoids, which when placed together, have approximately the dimensions of a standard yarn board.

Example: Yarn Board with Moiré Effect

Define the panel geometry by entering the following via the “settings” tab:

  • wind-on density

  • panel width

  • panel height

  • scale

  • shape of the panel (rectangle or trapezoid)

Advantages for spinners:

  • OASYS® shows how your yarn will look in your customer’s fabric after spinning only 1000 m of yarn! See any defects before they do.

  • Develop customized yarns. Yarn quality should be as high as needed and not as high as possible.

  • Easily determine the sales route to select for a specific yarn.

  • With OASYS® you can assess at low costs the impact of spinning parameters and ageing components on the yarn and fabric appearance.

  • Using OASYS® a designer of fancy yarns can effectively assess the impact of slubs and other intentional effects on the fabric (see also OASYS® Fancy Yarn Module).

  • Substantially reduce sample production costs.

  • With OASYS® you speak the same quality language with your customers.
