Hairiness – Simulation - Evenness in One Run

Introducing the complete Multitester by Zweigle consisting of three individual modules: ZT 5, OASYS®, G 567
The MT-Multitester can be customized to fit the needs of any customer as individual stand alone module or in sets of two or three.

 


This versatile tester combines the most modern testing technology available in the market today for judging yarn quality. The MT uses three different sensors to give an all round picture of sliver, roving and yarn evenness and yarn hairiness. Each sensing component is optional, and the user can freely define which component is required for his or her spinning, weaving, or knitting mill. The capacity sensing unit covers all IPI values used by the international textile community and are directly comparable to these standards. The optical sensor takes a diameter measurement of the yarn every 2 mm and is the basis for Zweigles popular OASYS® fabric simulation technology. The newly developed optical measuring head with laser light source provides the most accurate yarn hairiness information available with individual hair count and length classification.
